Kids Against Hunger
We provide nutritious meals to children and families locally and globally. We are grateful for this support of schools, churches, businesses, civic clubs and more who help us feed children and families around the corner and around the world. Locally, we have packaged and distributed more than 2 millions meals with the help of thousands of volunteers.
The mission of Kids Against Hunger, a humanitarian food-aid organization, is to significantly reduce the number of hungry children in the USA and to feed starving children throughout the world. Kids Against Hunger MealPack events are excellent for schools, churches, social clubs and corporations. We work with volunteers from ages 6 to106 and can help find a role for everyone in your group to help be a part of the solution to meet global hunger needs. Kids Against Hunger of Central Texas in association with Hope for the Hungry works throughout the State of Texas to provide food locally and globally.
KIDS AGAINST HUNGER FOOD:
The meal ingredients are formulated by food scientists to provide a rich source of easily digestible protein, carbohydrates, and vitamins needed by an undernourished child’s body and mind. The food is also acceptable to the broad diversity of ethnic tastes and religious differences around the world. The food offers all 9 of the essential amino acids required for complete nutrition, something that can’t be said about other typical food relief sources such as rice or beans alone. It is also very simple to prepare, requiring only 6 cups of boiling water to make a complete meal.
