Jean Alix Paul was born in Haiti on November 13, 1966 as the fifth child of a Christian family of 12. He accepted Jesus as his personal savior when he was 12 years old and he was baptized at the age of 14.
Jean Alix attended primary and secondary school in Port-Au-Prince and started preaching when he was 16 years old. He was discipled by missionary John Kramka. Through Rev Kramka, God changed his life and opened his understanding of the Word of God. Jean Alix has been a Sunday school teacher, superintendent of Sunday school, youth leader, preacher, worship leader and counselor. He was ordained in July, 1989. He attended Bible School in Haiti for three years and later attended Christ for the Nations in Jamaica where he received an associate's degree in theology in 1995.
After graduation, he became the Director of Spirit of Truth (Esprit de Vertes) Ministries founded by his late father, Edner Paul. Today, Jean Alix oversees seven churches, two orphanages, a scholarship program, a kindergarten school, and two primary schools. Additionally, the ministry provides a Mobile clinic, evangelical leadership seminar, crusade and discipleship training each year.
Jean Alix has been married to Mylene for six years and they have two children, Laurie and Markley.
