Summary of Volunteer Position:
General position requirements: Be an evangelical Christian, and an active member of a local Bible believing and preaching church. Available to work at least 10-15 hours per week. Have a general knowledge of computer operation and functions. Be willing to work in a variety of tasks as needed by the staff.
Specific Duties: General office tasks such as answering phones, mailing, filing, copying, and light typing will be used every day. Knowledge of Office programs such as Excel and Word will enhance the applicants value to the organization. Knowledge of Google Docs is a plus. Ability to follow specific directions as required for certain tasks is necessary. Some duties may include helping individuals handle and verify donations as they are received or scanning and saving critical historical records for future reference.
Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or higher, office experience and an understanding of professional office standards is required.
